Adam R. Thompson Obituary (1983 - 2022)

Adam R. Thompson, 39, of Pontiac, passed away on Monday, July 4th, 2022, at his home. Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Duffy Baier Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac is in charge of the arrangements. Adam was born on April 1, 1983, in Pontiac, Illinois, the son of Randy and Patty (Burgess) Thompson. They survive in Pontiac. Also surviving are his brother, Aaron (Jennifer) Thompson and his sister, Michelle (Scott) Ray both of Pontiac; his uncles, Tom (Nancy) Burgess, Mike (Pam) Burgess, and Tim (Danielle) Burgess, all of Pontiac; his aunts, Ann Last of Texas, Alice Mielke of Maine, and Doris Jennings of Bloomington; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Adam was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard and Marjory Burgess; his paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Melvin Jennings; his uncle, David Burgess; and his aunt, Christine Burgess. Adam enjoyed reading. He was a fan of anime. He really enjoyed vacation time with his family especially the trip to Florida. He will be greatly missed. Memorials may be made to the Livingston County Humane Society.
