Alan A. Courtland 58 , of Cropsey, IL formally of Saunemin died January 4, 2008 @ 1:03 am OSF St. Joseph Medical Center Bloomington, IL. His graveside service will be January 9th 2008 at Southside Cemetery in Pontiac at 11:00 am . Family and friends will be gathering on January 9th from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the Faith Fellowship Ministry in Fairbury, With David Lade officiating. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery, Pontiac. Alan was born on April 15, 1949 in Pontiac. Son of Ward and Lorraine Cays Goodmon. He married Debbie G. Rork on December 2, 1972 in Pontiac she survives. Other survivors include a son Steve A. Courtland of Cropsey and three grandchildren Ashley Courtland; Nathan Courtland; Brittany Courtland. Family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Preceding him in death are his Parents and one son, Jonathon Courtland in infancy. He had worked at the Pontiac Chair Factory for over 25 years, recently, he had been employed by DSI in Streator. He was a graduate of Pontiac High School, and spent 2 years at DeVry institute.
