Andrea J. Andreas-Dehm Obituary (1948 - 2011)

PONTIAC -- Alvera J. Andreas-Dehm, 62, of Joliet, formerly of Pontiac, died at 9 p.m. Friday (March 11, 2011) at her residence in Joliet. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, with the Rev. Dieter Punt officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431. She was born Nov. 14, 1948, in Fairbury, a daughter of Weldon and Evelyn ( Norbits) Dehm. Surviving are two sons, Andrew A. (Christina) Andreas, Channahon; and Aaron M. Andreas, Joliet; two daughters, Nancy L. (Tom) Burgess and Elizabeth L. Gulley, both of Pontiac; three brothers, William (Marcia) Dehm, Odell; and Michael (Tina) Dehm, Orange, Texas; and Bruce (Lesley) Dehm, Pontiac; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sorona Dehm; and one brother, Ronald Dehm. She had been employed with the Republic Quick Wash as a laundry attendant in Joliet. Alvera was educated in Esmen schools. She had been a lifelong waitress at various restaurants in the Pontiac and Joliet area.
