Arthur L. Milam Obituary (1933 - 2019)

Arthur L. Milam, 85, of Pontiac, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019at 3:09 a.m. at The Pointe in Pontiac. Cremation rites will be accorded. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Arthur was born June 22, 1933 in Peoria, IL to George and Nora (Kalb) Milam. He married Darlene Odgers on August 8, 1954 in Pontiac. She survives in Pontiac. He is survived by his children, Laura Ann (Charlie) Iverson of Flanagan, IL and George W. Milam of the Philippines; grandchildren, Jeff (Natalie) Iverson, Tim (Jamie) Iverson, Michael Iverson, Christina (Bill) Eveland, Tammy Lynn Roberts, Benjamin Milam, and Joseph Milam, Jr.; great grandchildren, Blair Iverson, Halynn Iverson, Rhys Iverson, Brooklyn Iverson, Brantly Iverson, Matt Eveland, Josh Eveland, Jessica Eveland, Kole Roberts, Levi Roberts, Skyler Roach, and Hunter Milam. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, George Wesley Milam, Jr. Arthur attended Pontiac Township High School. He worked for the City of Pontiac in the Street Department for 30 years. Arthur was a member of Central Christian Church in Pontiac. He greatly enjoyed camping and fishing and traveling in his motor home.
