Bertha V. Kipfer Obituary (1940 - 2018)

Bertha V. Kipfer, 78, of Westminster, CO, formerly of Pontiac, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at her home in Westminster, CO. In accordance with Berthas wishes, her body was donated to science. There will be no services. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Bertha was born February 15, 1940 in Cisne, IL to Edward and Mamie (McKinney) Lambrich. She is survived by her four children, Gary W. (Donna) Kipfer of Pontiac, IL, Fred W. (Lorraine) Kipfer of Rialto, CA, Janet K. (Dan) Freed of Phoenix, AZ, and Kelly L. Brown of Westminster, CO; two brothers, Warren Lambrich of Fontana, CA and Ed Lambrich of Hawaii; one sister, Dortha "Dot" Lambrich of Fontana, CA; six grandchildren, Molly Kipfer, Bryan and Erin Freed, Amanda, Timothy, and Katelyn Kipfer; and one great grandchild, Aurora Freed. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Loren "Pete" Lambrich; and one sister, Louise Neilson. Bertha attended Pontiac schools. She was a Lithographer for Crown Printers for 20 years and worked for Jones Country Garden. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Pontiac, IL and loved gardening.
