Christina Boldt Fisher Obituary (1983 - 2022)

CHRISTINA (BOLDT) FISHER Christina Diane (Boldt) Fisher, 39, passed away on Friday evening, July 29, 2022 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at the First Baptist Church of Pontiac on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 10:00 until the time of service. Pastor Jay Hurd will be officiating. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home of Pontiac is in charge of arrangements. Christina (Chrissy) was born on March 21, 1983 in Pontiac, the daughter of Gary R. and Carol (Branz) Boldt. She attended Pontiac schools and graduated from Pontiac Township High School in 2001. She also studied at Heartland Community College. Her occupation was an in-home daycare provider and she dearly loved the children she took care of. She treated them as if they were her own. Her favorite pastimes were gardening, canning, cooking, baking, and riding 4-wheelers. She showed her love through food. She was a caretaker by heart. From doing daycare to cooking for everyone and anyone, giving back and foot massages, listening, cheering you up, or making you laugh; she was always taking care of others and putting them first. She loved her girls beyond measure. She was a loyal friend who was described as completely trustworthy and never judging people. She married Mike Fisher on December 11, 2021. He survives. Other survivors include mother Carol (Branz) Boldt, father Gary R. Boldt (Peggie), daughters Allyson Boldt, Abbygail Geyer, and Jamie Geyer, stepdaughter Makyla Fisher, and stepson Kolton Hutte, all of Pontiac. In addition are sisters Cheryl Runyon (Jeremy), Cyndi Boldt (Travis Tissiere), Carrie Tucker (John), and Charlie Boldt, grandmother Mary L. Boldt, also of Pontiac, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Christina was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Bill and Marianne Branz, paternal grandfather Grant Boldt, and cousins Chad Johnson and Taylor Long.
