Debbie G. Courtland Obituary (1950 - 2018)

Debbie G. Courtland, 67, of Pontiac, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 8:45 a.m. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Her service will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac with Reverend Dick Jumper officiating. Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery in Pontiac. Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Debbie was born June 1, 1950 in Danville, IL to Raymond and Lorene (Bishop) Rork. She married Alan A. Courtland on December 2, 1972 in Pontiac, IL. He passed away January 4, 2008. She is survived by her son, Steve A. (Amy) Courtland of Cropsey, IL; sisters, Phyllis Rork of Champaign, IL and Janet K. Lewis of Pontiac, IL; grandchildren, Ashley M. Courtland of Fairbury, IL, Nathan A. Courtland of Pontiac, IL, and Brittany A. Courtland of Pontiac, IL; and step-grandson, Trevor S. Renfro of Fairbury, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alan; sister, Alice Rork; and son, Jonathon Courtland. Debbie attended Chatsworth Grade School and High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church in Cropsey, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
