Devon Jared Twin Millsap Obituary (1992 - 2017)

Devon Jared "Twin" Millsap, 25, of Pontiac, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 in Pontiac. His service will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac with Pastor Phil Bachman officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Devon was born April 27, 1992 in Pontiac, IL to Amory and Dawn (Alverson) Millsap. Both survive in Pontiac. He is survived by his one son on the way, Devon Millsap, Jr. and his son's mother, Ashley Boyd of Pontiac; brothers, his twin, Adam Millsap, Kyle Alverson, Kris Ingram, Willie Millsap, and Jacob May, all of Pontiac; sisters, Erin "Nana" Alverson, Britanny Millsap, and Courtney Alverson, all of Pontiac; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Hubbard of Pontiac; aunt and uncle, Joseph and Tracy Reed of Chenoa; six nieces and nine nephews; many loving cousins; and his special lady, Lisa Hetherington of Fairbury. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Undray "Muddy" Millsap; and maternal grandmother, Kaye Alverson. Devon attended Pontiac schools where he played basketball and football. Devon was a beautiful, carefree soul gone too soon. He was very excited to become a father to Devon, Jr. Memorials may be made to the family for the education of his son.
