Everett Dale Flesburg Obituary (1941 - 2016)

Everett "Dale" Flesburg, 74, of Pontiac, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 at 9:39 a.m. at his home in Pontiac. Cremation rites have been accorded. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Dale was born December 2, 1941 in Streator, IL to Everett L. and Jewel (Nelson) Flesburg. He married Joan Sue Kielyan on September 8, 1962. She survives in Pontiac, IL. Also surviving are his children, Duane R. (Jennifer) Flesburg of Centerville, OH and John M. (Lori) Flesburg of Evansville, IN; sister, Doris J. (Larry) Bernard of Peoria, IL; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Donald Flesburg. Dale was a graduate of Wenona High School, Class of 1959 and 1963 graduate of SIU for Printing Management. He was the President of Johnson Press for the past 15 years, having previously worked at Kable Printing in Mt. Morris, IL from 1963 - 1973, Brown Printing in Waseca, MN, Ruralist Press in Atlanta, GA, United Color Press in Dayton, OH, Shenandoah Valley Press in Strasberg, VA, CCS in Mendota, IL, and Constable Hodgins Printing Company in Kansas City, KS. Dale was a member of Printing Industries of America and a member of the Porsche Club of America since 1983. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and Mayo Clinic Division of Medical Oncology in care of Dr. Katherine Price.
