Gabriel Valdez Jr, 66, of Pontiac, past away on October 19, 2022 at St. Joseph medical center in Bloomington. He was born on October 18, 1956, in Ottawa, IL to Gabriel and Guadalupe (Trujillo) Valdez. He married Deborah McGuire on October 17, 1992, in Ottawa she survives in Pontiac. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. He is survived by his children, Casie Valdez (Donald), and Gabriel Valdez III (Callista), and Madison Valdez (Nathan) all of Pontiac. Stepson Jason (Kim) Podgorny of Winnipeg Canada. Also by 4 sisters and 4 brother. He also has 3 grandchildren Donald, Remington , Sophia Elise. He was employed by laborers local 996 of Roanoke. He enjoyed fishing he was an avid Kansas City Chief's fan. He enjoyed visiting with his friends and family. There will be a celebration of life on November 12, 2022 at 1:00 P.M at the Authentic Church of Pontiac.
