Harriet E. Klehm Obituary (1931 - 2020)

Harriet E. Klehm, 89, of Pontiac, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020, at 10:45 p.m. at Liberty Village in Princeton, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded with services to be held at a later date. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Harriet was born January 29, 1931, in McLean, IL to Harrison and Ina (Shields) Lahr. She married Paul E. Klehm on November 5, 1950. He survives in Pontiac. Also surviving are her two children, Greg (Kathy) Klehm in Pontiac, IL and Velinda (Ken) Jenkins of Hennepin, IL; nine grandchildren, Amy Schott, Christy Chlebana, Angela Lannon, Shannon Jenkins-Solomon, Aaron (Janda) Jenkins, Brian (Tara) Bauman, Brent (Carly) Bauman, Kaitlynn (Andrew) Audrain, and Mitch Miller; 17 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; three brothers; one daughter-in-law; and one grandson. Harriet graduated high school in McLean, IL. She was a great wife and she enjoyed tending to the family farm with her husband, Paul. She loved crafting and quilting and cooking fabulous meals for her family. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Pontiac. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 112 N. Division, Pontiac, IL 61764.
