Joan L. Jones Obituary (1943 - 2007)

Joan L. Jones, 64, of Pontiac, died at 10:03 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007, at OSF St. Mary's Hospital, Galesburg. Her memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Duffy Funeral Home, Pontiac. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born Jan. 11, 1943, at Baltimore, Md., the daughter of Edgar L. and Lillian (Judson) Lambdin. She married Robert R. Jones May 4, 1978, at Virginia Beach, Va. He survives at Pontiac. Also surviving are one son, Russell R. Jones, Pontiac; two stepsons, Robert (Teri) Jones, Pontiac, and John Jones, El Paso; three stepdaughters, Carol (Dave) Zimmer, Cornell, Robin (Dave) Metz, Chenoa, and Donna (Ron) Landers, Kenosha, Wis.; her mother, Lillian Judson, Meadows; 20 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
