Justin Hawbaker, 33, of Watseka, formerly of Saunemin, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 8:51 p.m. in Watseka, IL. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac. Justin was born on March 28, 1980 in Pontiac, IL, son of Michael Brubach and Beth Hawbaker. His father survives in Watseka, IL. Also surviving are his step-father, John Gahm of Saunemin, IL; two brothers, Evan Hawbaker of Pontiac, IL and Johnny Gahm of Bloomington, IL; three sisters, Sarah Gahm of Bloomington, IL; Jill Gahm Lenger of Pontiac, IL and Jennifer Gahm of Texas; four uncles, Joel Hawbaker of St. Peter, MN, Steve (Becky) Brubach of Watseka, IL, Jim (Jenny) Brubach of Bourbonnais, IL and Dean (Tammy) Brubach of Bradley, IL; one aunt, Sandy Tunze of Phoenix, AZ; his paternal grandfather, James Brubach of Eicorn, IL; his maternal grandfather, Rusty Carpenter of Conway, SC and two nephews, Tristan Hawbaker and Landon Hawbaker. He was preceded in death by his mother and his maternal grandmother, Faye Carpenter. Justin was a graduate of Pontiac Township High School. He was a Chef. He loved reading and as a chef, he greatly enjoyed baking and was a huge fan of the Atlanta Falcons. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 208 S.
