Kathy S. Kelly Obituary (1949 - 2017)

Kathy S. Kelly, 67, of Pontiac, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 9:05 a.m. at Pontiac Healthcare & Rehab in Pontiac. A graveside service will be held Monday, August 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Pontiac with Theodore Cain officiating. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Kathy was born October 31, 1949 in Pontiac, IL to Robert E. and Ellen S. (Close) Soule. Ellen survives in Pontiac. She married Dan Kelly, who passed away in 1999. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Bart) Jennings of Pontiac, IL; son-in-law, Nathan Cain of Ava, MO; brother, Richard Soule of Graymont, IL; step-brother, Robert Soule of Streator, IL; and grandchildren, Kelly Ruther of Bloomington, IL and Shelby Jennings of Pontiac, IL. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert; husband, Dan; two brothers, Thomas E. Soule and James J. Franklin; one step-brother, Terry Soule; and two daughters, Lori E. Tull and Candice K. Cain. Kathy attended Pontiac Township High School and was a homemaker. Kathy was very caring and loving. She adored her daughter and granddaughters and loved spending time and spoiling them. She was a great mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
