Kyle J. Warwick Obituary (1989 - 2016)

Kyle J. Warwick, 27 of Pontiac passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at OSF St. James Hospital in Pontiac. A Celebration of Life service will be Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Pontiac VFW. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Kyle was born November 17, 1989 in Pontiac, to Gerald "Jerry" Warwick and Jackie Rustman. She survives in Pontiac. Also surviving is his sister, Kenna Rustman of Pontiac; grandmothers, Janet Rustman of Pontiac and Donna Warwick of Pontiac; aunts, Roberta "Bert" Rustman of Pontiac and Kathleen "Kat" Warwick of Pontiac; uncles, Kevin (Brenda) Rustman of Pontiac and Timothy (Lisa) Warwick of Bloomington; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Warwick; maternal grandfather, Claus Rustman; pPaternal grandfather, Gerald Dwaine Warwick. Kyle was a graduate of Pontiac Township High School and received his Bachelor of Arts and Classics from Monmouth College in 2014 He had been a cook for several restaurants in the Pontiac area. While attending Monmouth College he stayed very active in the college band. Family suggests that the memorials be made to PTHS Band boosters or to the family Kyle's wonderful life centered on his family, his love of music, mastering drums, vocals and passing that talent to his sister, Kenna. He had a wonderful characteristic to his personality of always helping people whether a friend or a stranger.
