Michael C. Ashmus Obituary (1974 - 2018)

Michael C. Ashmus, 44, of Pontiac, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at 10:23 a.m. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 886 in Pontiac, IL. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Michael was born March 31, 1974 in Burlington, WI to Frank J. Ashmus of Florida and Victoria L. (Reed) Ashmus of Pontiac, IL; both survive. Also surviving are his girlfriend, Shelly L. Lewis of Pontiac, IL; children, Triston C. Ashmus of Pontiac, IL and Corinne M. Adkins of South Dakota; brother, Joshua D. (Megan) Ashmus of San Antonio, TX; sister, Tena N. Ashmus of Pontiac, IL; and grandchildren, Kierawn Raven Ahlstrom and Kian Liard Ahlstrom of South Dakota. Michael was a graduate of Dwight High School. He was a licensed plumber working for Popejoy Plumbing for 20 years and most recently worked for Evenglow Lodge for the past two years in the maintenance department.
