Pat Obituary (1944 - 2022) - Pontiac, Illinois

Patricia Jane Collette, 77, of Pontiac, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Evenglow Lodge Health Center in Pontiac. According to Pat's wishes, she will be donating her body to science. There will be a memorial Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church at a later date with Father Adam Cesarek officiating. Burial will be at L'Erable Cemetery in L'Erable, IL. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Pat was born on October 30, 1944, in Seneca to Beaucie and Dorothy (Trost) Collette. She is survived by her sisters, Joanne Coriell of Pontiac, IL and Barbara (Robert) Buehler of Ocala, FL; brothers, Pete (Ann) Collette of Solon, IA and Mark (Bow) Collette of Eastover, NC; brother in law, Lynn LaMie of Kankakee, IL; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tom Collette; and sister, Elizabeth LaMie. Pat graduated from Central High School in Clifton, and cosmetology school in Kankakee. Pat worked from home as a hairdresser for many years. She later spent several years at Holiday Inn in Kankakee in food service and later worked at the BP gas station in Clifton. Pat was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pontiac and the St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church or Evenglow Lodge.
