Patricia Y. Lind Obituary (1936 - 2008)

Patricia Y. Lind, 72 of Pontiac, died at 11:28 am Friday at her residence. Her Funeral will be at 11a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church, Pontiac, the Rev James O. Wolfe III officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Pontiac. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the church. Duffy Funeral Home Pontiac has charge of arrangements. She was born Feb. 5, 1936, at Chenoa, the daughter of Roy and Cleo (Devore) Rich. She married John Karl Lind Jan. 17, 1958, at Chenoa. Surviving are three sons, Mike G. Lind Charlotte, N.C. and Patrick "Tom" (Lisa) Lind and Joseph W. (Pam) Lind, both of Pontiac; two daughters, Debra S. (Rick) Golliday and Janet K. (Mike) Runyon, both of Pontiac; one sister Kathy Evans, Chenoa; 12 grandchildren, Brian, Jordan, Jaimi, Jessica, Lindsey, Taylor, Tyler, Chris, Trisha, Jacob, Jeremy, and Justin one great-granddaughter: Addyson; three step grandchildren: Lance, Landon, and Evan; and a special friend: Debbie Clardy. Mrs. Lind was preceded in death by her parents; one son, John Lind; and two brothers, Dick and Don Rich. She was a 1954 graduate of Chenoa High School. Mrs. Lind had been employed with Johnson Press for nearly 20 years, retiring in 1998. She then was employed by the Daily Leader newspaper. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pontiac.
