Pauline U. Ray, 70, of Pontiac, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at 11:00 p.m. at Accolade Health Care in Pontiac, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be Friday, September 20, 2019, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home with a sharing of memories between family and friends to take place at 3:00 p.m. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Pauline was born June 12, 1949, in Fairbury, IL to John R. and Una (Schmidt) Gordon. She married Roy O. Ray in Jefferson, GA. He passed away October 19, 2015. She is survived by her children, Earl (Nancy) Ross, Jr. of Pontiac, IL, Robert J. Ross of Orlando, FL, Theodore J. Ross of Pontiac, IL, Katrina P. Ross of Pontiac, IL, and Michael A. (Sally) Ross of Pontiac, IL; step-children, Scott (Shelly) Ray of Pontiac, IL, and April (Daniel) Dennis of Missouri; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry Gordon of Joliet, IL and David (Connie) Gordon of FL; and sister, Darlene Gordon of Joliet, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; and her twin sister, Katherine Carter Meister. Pauline attended Forrest, Strawn, and Wing schools. She was a waitress for many years at various restaurants in the Pontiac area. Pauline loved life and her family meant everything to her. She will be missed and was loved by many.
