Rosa L. Petie Tharp Obituary (1944 - 2017)

Rosa L. "Petie" Tharp, 72, of Pontiac, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 12:30 a.m. at Evenglow Lodge in Pontiac. Cremation rites will be accorded. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Rosa was born December 25, 1944 in Chenoa, IL to David and Velda (Green) Cousert. She is survived by her children, Penny Vollmer of Pontiac, IL and Curt (Annette) Tharp of Pontiac, IL; sisters, Beverly Sigler of Mesa, AZ and Jackie (Roger) Gierich of Colfax, IL; and grandchildren, Zach Soule, Jake Soule, Nick Soule, Paul (Jenn) Tharp, Traci Tharp, Mashaya Tharp, and Hillery Peters. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Paul Green. Rosa worked for R. R. Donnelly's and Johnson Press until her retirement.
